Jamie graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 1996 with a BSc. Forestry. He moved to British Columba after graduation to work as Supervisor of Harvest Operations with West Fraser Timber and became a Registered Professional Forester in BC in 1998. In 2001, he moved to Pasadena, NL where he worked as District Operations Superintendent with Corner Brook Pulp and Paper until 2007. In 2007 he joined the NL Forest Service as District Ecosystem Manager in Cartwright, and from there moved into the role of District Ecosystem Manager for the St. George’s District. He is currently acting Director for the Legislation and Compliance Division, with the NL Forest Service and is stationed at Provincial Headquarters in Corner Brook.
