The Canadian Institute of Forestry – NL Section and The Association of Registered Professional Foresters of NL invite you to take part in our Annual General Meeting activities during October 21-23 at the famous Max Simms Memorial Camp in Central Newfoundland.
Forest Fire Management, Prevention and Mitigation is the theme of this year’s event. We have an excellent program developed which includes a NL Forestry Quiz Bowl, Technical Session, Poster Display, BBQ Social, and a hands-on FireSmart assessment and activities. We have a full lineup of interesting and exciting presentations to provide insight into various elements of forest fire management in NL and beyond.
